Pastor Kelvin Cox, Sr., a proud native of Longview, Texas, now resides in the vibrant Greater City of Houston. His Collegiate education journey began at Prairie View A&M University, where he laid the groundwork for his academic pursuits. He continued his studies at the College of Biblical Studies, UT MD Anderson (Clinical Pastoral Education), and is presently enrolled at Fuller Theological Seminary. He is committed to a lifelong journey of learning and spiritual growth.
With over 30 years of marriage experience, Pastor Kelvin Cox, Sr. brings not only academic and theological knowledge but also a wealth of practical wisdom to his role. Utilizing this deep well of personal experience, he provides impactful Biblical and Spiritual Counseling to support married couples, enriching their relationships and strengthening family bonds. His approach is rooted in empathy, understanding, and a genuine desire to guide couples towards enduring love and connection.
Beside Pastor Cox in his call to ministry, Lady Charlett Cox is his college sweetheart and an esteemed educator in the Pasadena Independent School District. Her profound spirit and compassionate heart add a unique dimension to their shared mission. Beyond her role in education, Lady Charlett profoundly impacts the women in the Marriage Ministry, "We Are One." Her nurturing presence creates a safe space for women to connect, share, and find strength in each other.
As her dedication extends beyond the school's walls to the women's hearts in "We Are One," with her nurturing spirit, she empowers and uplifts, fostering a sense of community where women find support, encouragement, and inspiration on their individual journeys.
Together, they lead the Marriage Ministry "We Are One" at

Their passion lies in fostering solid and thriving marriages through intentional guidance and delving into significant elements such as communication, active listening, trust-building, conflict resolution, and spiritual connection.
